Randy began riding in the mid 1970’s, when his father, a Washington DC police officer, brought used bikes home from police auctions. After years of commuting in Beltway traffic, Randy took the MSF “Riding and Street Skills” course and in 1994 became an MSF-certified instructor.

Six years later he sought to bridge the gap between real world riding and standardized parking lot courses.  In 2001, Randy took Larry’s instructor course which resulted in the creation of a one-day, 80-mile long on-street course, geared for the novice rider but modular enough that experienced riders gain valuable information.  This course was offered through a local community college.

Randy is retired from the Department of Defense and enjoys teaching aboard his Honda GL1800 Gold Wing or Yamaha FJR1300.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”897,898,899,900,901″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
